Our Instructor and Founder  

Clarissa is a herbal tea formulation educator, a Certified Herbal Tea Blending with the Complimentary Medicine Association and a Tea Sommelier as well as the founder of Aguma Tea & Herbs which was established in 2019. Aguma Tea is an artisanal tea company focused on creating herbal teas for physical, mental and spiritual wellness. Following years of practical experience in the field running Aguma Tea and having facilitated over 50 herbal tea blending workshops and masterclasses she found a demand for more structured and detailed herbal tea blending education. Fuelled by a love for teaching, and sharing the appreciation of herbal wellness the Pear Tree Herbal Academy was established to bring this course to tea enthusiasts and herbal wellness practitioners globally.
